Buying extra pairs of Scholl stockings and socks.
Your doctor or nurse will provide you with a regular repeat prescription for your Scholl compression stockings or socks and you will be able to replace them should they become damaged.
You may, however, like to have extra pairs of Scholl compression stockings or socks from your pharmacist. Perhaps ladies may choose a black pair of lacy topped Scholl Ultima hold-up stockings to wear on a special occasion, or some black socks to wear under trousers. Men may like to have a selection of differently coloured socks to wear with different clothes.
Check your measurements
All Scholl stockings and socks can be purchased from your local pharmacy, but it is essential that your legs have been properly measured so you can be sure to buy the correct size. Keep a record of your measurements to show to your pharmacist or take with you the pack from the stockings or socks you have been prescribed to confirm your size. Your pharmacist may wish to re-measure your legs, to be sure.
Get re-measured regularly
Remember that you do need to be re-measured every 3 months or so, to make sure that your measurements have not changed. Your medical condition may have altered or by wearing your compression stockings or socks regularly, your legs might have slimmed down.
